Collaboration and sources

Advisory Board

In addition to the project group, Queerlit had an advisory board that served as a sounding board for the project group and provided expertise in their respective areas. The expert advisory board included:

Collaboration

The Queerlit project involved collaborations with several institutions:

  • KvinnSam, an archive and national library for gender research. KvinnSam was part of the project’s working group and maintain the database after the project period.
  • Kungliga biblioteket (KB), Sweden’s national library. KB houses the national bibliography Libris, in which Queerlit is a sub-database.

Sources

The Queerlit project draws on a variety of sources. Among other things, the work is based on previous surveys, such as Jan Magnusson’s digital bibliography, Dodo Parika’s HBT speglat i litteraturen and the anthology Sympatiens hemlighetsfulla makt.

In addition, help has been provided by a large number of experts on the individual works and authors included in the database. Where we have used written sources, these are indicated in our presentations of the work in question. But we have also benefited from a wealth of oral and other unpublished information.

In addition to our advisory board, Queerlit would like to thank the following people for invaluable advice: Elin Abrahamsson, Karl Berglund, Dominik Dziedzic, Otto Fischer, Stefano Fogelberg Rota, Kristofer Folkhammar, Hanna Hallgren, Fredrik Hertzberg, Anna Hultman, Hilda Jakobsson, Anna Jakobsson Lund, Philip Lavender, Elliot Lundegård, Felix T. Mäkelä, Elenor Pavlov, Tiina Rosenberg, Karin Råghall, Ragni Svensson, Mats Tormod and Per Anders Wiktorsson.
